Founded Lifee and led complete hardware/software development of an activity bracelet for kids with Bluetooth (BLE) capabilities, overseeing firmware development and full production lifecycle. Global DevEx Platform Engineering
Platform engineering within Volvo's global Developer Experience organization (DevEx), supporting 100+ production applications across EU, US, CH, and SEA regions. Built Backstage plugins for AI/RAG-powered developer support and live ArgoCD deployment status visualization, giving teams self-service visibility into their own applications. Worked with deployment automation teams to deliver self-service capabilities on the shared platform. Created platform release processes including versioning strategy, rollout guides, and user notification procedures. Established security compliance framework including PCI compliance and CVE management. Implemented dynamic cost optimization across 1000+ nodes. Worked across both Azure and AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, and security frameworks.

Mud Masters
Real-time scoring system for GYMRACE fitness competitions
Complete product development from concept to delivered production units for Mud Masters' GYMRACE, a functional fitness competition held across Amsterdam, London, Utrecht, Paris, and Weeze. The Wall Balls station requires participants to complete 100 ball throws against a target, and this system automates the counting with real-time visual feedback. Took the project from initial idea through sensor evaluation, MVP prototype, and into full production. Designed custom 3D-printed mounts, built the complete software stack with a Node.js/TypeScript backend and branded React frontend, and created a plug-and-play kiosk image for true zero-configuration deployment. Assembled and delivered 50+ complete stations with 100+ sensors, automated build pipeline for SD card image generation, assembly instructions, BOM, wiring diagrams, and full source code handover. System operates fully standalone without internet connectivity.

Automated CI/CD Platform for Unity Game Studio
Replaced manual local builds and Steam uploads with fully automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Modular workflow design supporting multiple games and platforms (Windows/Linux), with scheduled builds, dedicated server compilation, and automated Steam deployment across multiple release branches for internal and public testing. Self-hosted runners on AWS with Terraform-managed auto-scaling infrastructure using ephemeral instances, scaling to zero when idle. Custom Packer-built AMIs pre-loaded with Unity packages for fast boot. Fully on-demand and self-terminating, eliminating idle costs. Unity license server for parallel builds and Discord bot for on-demand build triggers.

Multi-Region Kubernetes Platform from Scratch
Designed and built multi-region Kubernetes platform from scratch across 4 regions (SE, NE, BE, AU), replacing fragmented VM and bare-metal infrastructure. Terraform-based on AWS EKS with GitOps workflows, supporting 30+ applications across production, test, and QA environments. Adapted the platform to run concurrently on both EKS and OpenShift. Full observability stack (Prometheus/Loki/Grafana), cert-manager with custom domain support for 50+ end customers, in-cluster DNS service for rapid onboarding, AWS ALB/NLB to Traefik ingress, and redundant Keycloak authentication. Built standalone white-label theming service (TypeScript/React) alongside Keycloak, used directly by onboarding and account management teams for 10+ enterprise deployments. Created training material and ran Kubernetes sessions with operations teams. On-call throughout.
